We are seeking a Director of Business Intelligence to help us expand our data warehouse, data analytics and data reporting strategy; develop our goals; and manage the development of projects. This person will also manage the development and production of our other data-based products.
This role combines both vision and execution. A successful candidate will enjoy creating strategy and overseeing the team executing it.

What You Can Expect
Currently, our tools include Azure, SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI
This role combines both vision and executuion – expect to create the strategy and lead the necessary tasks
No previous landscape industry experience necessary – we enjoy hiring outside of our industry
Location flexibility to work from home (*anywhere in Texas*) 25-30 hours per week, during business hours
Opportunity to meet the team for in-person gatherings twice a year – no additional travel is expected

I was looking for a part-time professional position and was thrilled when I found The Herring Group. The fact the position is 100% remote was icing on the cake. We provide financial consulting services to growing Landscape companies. The work is part contractor (preparing reports and analysis), part consultant (providing finance and accounting expertise), and part coach (meeting with clients and their teams through virtual meetings). We have a collaborative team and professional and engaged clients. Life balance is a priority for our team and a goal we aim to achieve for our clients.
