Selected New York Times Articles
Related to Coronavirus / COVID-10
As The Herring Group reviewed articles from The New York Times, we saw the dire economic circumstances illustrated in the amount of information that was being released each day. These circumstances were clearly shown by the wide variance in the estimates of death toll, the daily sway and contradictions in decisions made by local, state, and federal politicians, the rapid downfall of many different industries, the inadequate supply of PPE and ventilators, and the attempts to meet vast financial needs with outdated systems and understaffed agencies. While the amount of information released each day is overwhelming, we have selected a few articles that we believe reflect some of these issues.
